Villa La Paiola is a Country Resort which offers accommodation in private apartments called Suites, each with separate entrance and private garden, inside of the 2ha park with stunning view over lake Vico, nearby the medieval village Caprarola 45 min away from North of Rome

Yes, it is a group of private buildings nestled inside of the 2ha park with fence, which is nestled inside of the Natural Park of Lake Vico.

The staff and a custodian are living here.

Yes, there is a scenic pool 12 x 6 x 1,5m overlooking the lake Vico which is only for the guests of Villa la Paiola and open usually from June to September.

Two private maxi Jacuzzi hot tub are (upon request) for exclusive use of the guests, the one is in the garden of the Suite Glicine and another one in the garden of the Suite Palma.

For security and hygienic reason the private spa is open from 8AM till 7PM. After takes sanitizing process and filtration of water with specific products.

The closest restaurant is at 2 km, in Caprarola , Ronciglione or directly at the Lake, about a five minute drive away. Upon arrival, all our guests are given a complete list of the restaurants in the area and our staff can always recommend specific place. If you don’t want drive by night, you can also request a private driver who pick-up you into/from the restaurant.

In your accommodation: you can prepare it yourself or have it delivered to you at the time of your choosing. Service breakfast- in -room is upon extra payment.

Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m.; if you will be arriving after 6:00 p.m. or you are running late, we ask that you kindly advise us. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m.; for later departures, please speak with our reception staff.

The nearest supermarket, bakery and butcher is in Caprarola as in Ronciglione(open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.).

Our accommodations come complete with bed and bath linens and kitchen suppies, hair dryer in the bathroom. There are also some pantry basics (bread, brioches , olive oil, sugar, salt, milk, water, caffè, etc.), breakfast supplies, all of which are helpful if you check-in after the local shops have closed. We also have a grocery shopping service available upon request, for which you can send us your shopping list a few days before arrival.

There is a laundry self-service in Ronciglione, € 4/per wash or you can have an extra linen change upon request.

A/C is available in the bedrooms of Suite Glicine . All our accommodations stay quite cool and ventilated and have fans. All our accommodations have heating.

Yes , there is a public transportation on SP 1. The bus stop is at 150metres from Villa La Paiola. It takes 50 minutes by bus to reach Saxa Rubra in Rome. From there , the metro reach in 15 minutes the center of Rome – Piazza Popolo. We encourage our guests to explore the surrounding area by car.

The nearest restaurants are about 5 to 10 minutes away by car , and about 20 minutes away there are additional restaurants in Viterbo . We provide a list of all the area restaurants to guests upon arrival, but if you'd like to start planning, you can contact us before your arrival.

There are a number of weekly street markets in the area, open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The rent of canoa, kayak and bike MTB is possible on the lake , 5 minutes drive.
